How to place an order / use this site

If you have any problems using this website, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I've tried to answer common questions below, but if you can't find photos from a specific event using the links on the left, or via the Search Engine, they may have been taken offline if they were taken over a year ago If necessary events can be put temporarily back online if you email me the details. If you are having problems paying using Paypal, there are a number of reasons for this, and I've covered these on a separate page.

Finding and viewing photographs on-line
Photos from events will be available for viewing / ordering on-line within 24 hours. Please use the site search engine at the top each page, or the relevant links in the sidebar to take you to the lists of recent events - all events and photographs are split according to academic term. If an event you wish to view is no longer on-line please contact me and I can easily make it temporarily available.

When you find the event you are looking for, click on the main image to take you to a series of index pages. All images are displayed in the order in which they were taken. 35 images are shown on each index page, and a "jump" menu should enable you to select a specific index page, so there is no need to view all pages in order. Click on any thumbnail to view an enlarged version of the image. NB All the images shown on this site have been greatly reduced in size and quality - the photograph you receive will be a high resolution image which is adjusted and cropped as necessary.

Ordering / viewing photos from University or Departmental events
Photos from College / University society and Departmental events will be available for viewing / ordering on-line from this website - all events will be listed according to the academic term. For help / information on ordering on-line, please see the instructions below. On-line orders may be made securely via PayPal using any major credit / debit card.

Ordering On-Line via PayPal
If you have a credit or debit card you can order on-line using PayPal's established and secure on-line payment system (see PayPal for more details). NB There is no need to have / open a PayPal account. If you have problems using Paypal, there are a number of reasons for this - to find out more, please click here.

Adding Images to your Shopping Cart
Once you have found the event you are after, and clicked to enlarge the thumbnail image, if you wish to order the image simply enter the quantity you require (for black and white images, also select the negative number from the drop-down list) then click on the "Add To Cart" button. A new PayPal window will then open displaying the current selections in your shopping cart. You may change quantities or remove items from your shopping basket at this stage (simply click on the "Update Basket") and either "Proceed to the Checkout", or" Continue Shopping". If you wish to continue shopping you will be returned to the image you just added to your shopping cart. Use the navigation arrows at the top right if the image to return to the contact sheet index page, or move on to the next / previous image.

To view your shopping cart click on the buttons which appear on these index pages and proceed to the checkout at any time

"Proceeding to Checkout"
The postage and packing is added automatically once you proceed to the checkout, and the total amount payable is displayed.
If you have a PayPal account simply enter your password and click on the "Continue" button and follow the PayPal instructions.
If you do not have a PayPal account, click on the "Click here" underneath the login section of this page, and provide all the necessary information for your credit or debit card transaction, which is completely secure via PayPal. You will be given the option to provide a different delivery address to the billing address if you wish.

When you have finished your transaction with PayPal you will be sent an order confirmation via email. We aim to post your photographs out to you within 1-2 working days, and all items are sent first class. If delivery times are any different you will receive an email notifying you of this, so it is really important that you supply an email address that you check regularly!!

Postage Costs
Postage and packing costs are calculated automatically if you order on-line (however postage costs are for UK delivery only). For orders less than £25, postage & packing is £1.50, for orders over £25, postage & packing is £2.00. If you order your photos by post using a downloadable order form, you may if you wish have your photos sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery - the cost for this is £5, however this is not an option if you order on-line. If you would like to have photos posted abroad this is no problem, however additional postage costs may be payable.
